ACVSMR & CCRT/CCRP/CCRV– Seattle, WA

Exciting opportunities in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!

SOUND Veterinary Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT/CCRP/CCRV) to join our team! We are searching for a highly motivated individual to lead and grow our rehabilitation, sports medicine, and pain management services.

Animal Surgical & Orthopedic Center (ASOC), our parent company, has been part of the Seattle community for nearly 35 years and has the distinction of being the first surgical referral practice in the region. We added SOUND Veterinary Rehabilitation Center to our hospital in 2009.

Our singular focus on surgery and rehabilitation allows us to devote all our time and resources to the most progressive and appropriate solutions for our patients — from standard surgical techniques to cutting-edge procedures, including: total joint replacement, minimally invasive surgical techniques, osteochondral autograft transplant system (OATS), platelet rich plasma ( PRP), and Stem Cell Therapy. ASOC and SOUND also provide surgical and rehabilitation expertise to several Seattle-area organizations, including Woodland Park Zoo and Seattle Aquarium.

We feel that physical rehabilitation is essential for comprehensive surgical care, and we believe in an integrated approach to developing patient care plans. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to join a highly collaborative, cohesive, supportive, and fun team. Candidates must share our commitment to delivering extraordinary patient care and outstanding client communication, including working closely with our referring veterinary community. Applicants for the position must have excellent inter-personal skills, as this role does require exceptional client education and communication skills as well as the ability to reach out, educate and build relationships with our referral community.

Equipment and facilities include a dedicated rehabilitation building, for therapeutic exercise, underwater, therapeutic laser, NMES, and therapeutic exercise equipment as well as access to CT, ultrasound and radiology suite.

Skills and Qualifications: Certification (CCRT/CCRP/CCRV) is required unless ACVSMR candidate, certification in acupuncture and pain management (CVPP) is highly desired, or ability to obtain licensure in Washington as soon as possible, clinical experience practicing rehabilitation for 1-2 years is a plus.
