Full Time Veterinary Technicians Needed!
Northboro Canine Rehabilitation and Fitness Center is a small, team-oriented facility, dedicated to rehabilitating the canine companion in order to improve their quality of life and general well-being. Located at 276 West Main Street, in Northborough, Massachusetts, NCRFC is a highly sought out and trusted practice for veterinary hospitals across New England.
The veterinary technician’s primary role would be to learn and administer appropriate manual therapeutic techniques, and Class IV laser treatment, to injured, handicapped, and sporting canines. On occasion, the veterinary technician may assist in underwater treadmill exercises, therapeutic land exercises, and aquatic therapy in our 6,000-gallon indoor heated pool.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
- Interest in rehabilitation of canines and alternative therapies to surgery
- Experience with medical handling of the canine patient
- Knowledge of canine behavior
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance
Preferred Requirements
- Associate Degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or related field
- Enrollment or Completion of a CCRP, CCRA, or CCMT program
- Experience in Canine Agility or Neurology
