Furlong’s Soundness Center (FSC) has an immediate opening for the role of Rehabilitation Technician.
FSC neighbors B.W. Furlong & Associates and Equine MRI of New Jersey, to offer a comprehensive approach to rehabilitating equine athletes. Led by a board certified veterinary specialist, our rehab team takes an active approach to rehabilitation to promote soundness of the horse’s body and mind.

Who are we?

Furlong’s Soundness Center (FSC), located in Lebanon, NJ, has been in operation for over five years; at the time of its opening, it was the first veterinary managed equine rehabilitation center in private practice across the country. It continues to evolve and develop its treatments as the field of equine rehabilitation services grows; what started as a referral laser center has now expanded to over 20 different treatment modalities. The Soundness Center focuses on creating a peaceful and relaxing environment, with customized rehabilitation and fitness plans, ensuring patients have every opportunity to get back to maximum performance. FSC is a subsidiary business of B.W. Furlong & Associates, a world-class equine veterinary hospital located ½ mile down the road.

FSC is a small team of four technicians, each of whom is intimately involved with the treatment and care of the 12 patients housed at the Soundness Center. The team is led by a veterinarian who is board certified in sports medicine and rehabilitation and is recognized around the world as one of the preeminent specialists in her field. A commitment to providing the ultimate in veterinary care is shared by both the team at FSC and the larger hospital team.

We invest in our team, fostering growth and skill development in a supportive atmosphere. We encourage strong relationships through advanced training, team building activities, events, and a culture of open communication.
