ST PETERSBURG COMPANION ANIMAL PRACTICE & CANINE REHABILITATION CENTER SEEKING CCRP/CCRT VETERINARIAN Full Time or Part Time.  4-Day work week for all full timers with no on call emergencies.  

AAHA-accredited since 2002, our well-established family-owned companion animal practice is conveniently located on a major thoroughfare in northeastern St. Petersburg, an easy 5-minute drive to our beautiful waterfront downtown, a 15-minute drive to our gorgeous beaches, and a 20-minute drive to downtown Tampa.  Our second location is nestled in a quiet neighborhood close to the beaches.

We are a primary care facility with Sound Technology Smart DR digital xray, new dental suite with Dental Focus digital Dental Xray, new Sound Technology Logiq Ultrasound, ECG, radiosurgical units, pharmacy, in-house lab, in-house regenerative therapies lab; and all anesthetic monitoring equipment required by AAHA standards.

With this additional position, we are looking to expand our canine rehabilitation services.  Acupuncture certification is also highly desirable to complement canine rehabilitation at our facility.

Client service and satisfaction is strongly emphasized while providing our patients wellness & disease prevention, comprehensive dental care, soft tissue & orthopedic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, canine rehabilitation, & regenerative medicine.

We also offer a 4-day work week for full time associates, paid CE opportunities for licensure requirements, professional development and new skills acquisition.  No overnight on call required as overnight care is referred to local emergency/specialty centers.

Qualifications Needed:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Florida Licensure in good standing
  • Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practioner (CCRP or CCRT)
  • 2 years post DVM grad or recent intern or resident graduate preferred
  • A friendly, caring and compassionate professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dependable and reliable with a good work ethic.
  • Experience in diagnosing CCL tears to recommend surgery in-house with follow up rehab
  • Acupuncture certification a plus
  • Chiropractic certification a plus
