Southeast Veterinary Neurology (SEVN) is seeking a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner to join our growing specialty hospital! 

The Rehabilitation Practitioner will work closely with the Neurologists to formulate rehabilitation plans that achieve pain management, restoration of function after surgery, and improved mobility due to IVDD or other neurological conditions. Rehabilitation services are also provided to the surrounding referring veterinary community for orthopedic, pain management, fitness/conditioning, and geriatric wellness/maintenance. Our services include individualized therapeutic exercise plans, manual therapy, massage, treadmill, Class IV laser therapy, and TENS/Electrical Stimulation.  We have an excellent trained, credentialed therapy staff providing rehab services 7 days/week.

Providing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, we are seeking a team oriented DVM with CCRP or CCRT certification.  You will be performing initial evaluations, formulating individualized treatment plans and communicating with referring veterinarians, while coaching and training rehabilitation staff.

  • Be licensed in Florida as a DVM (or able to obtain licensing)
  • Be credentialed as CCRT or CCRP
    • Will consider a DVM in the process of completing credentialing
    • Know and train for low stress handling (Fear Free)
    • Be able to communicate effectively with clients and the entire veterinary team
