Virginia Veterinary Hospital, Fredericksburg, (Compassion First Pet Hospitals) is looking to hire a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner with at least one- two (1-2) years of experience.
The VVC-F is a fully equipped with a suite of equipment and services:
o Underwater treadmill
o Therapeutic ultrasound
o Massage therapy
o Cryo and thermotherapies
o Therapeutic exercise equipment
o Balance and coordination training
o Gait training and conditioning
The rehabilitation department prides itself on providing quality patient care across multiple specialties including emergency, critical care, internal medicine, dermatology, and oncology. They are supervised and work side-by-side with multiple board-certified surgeons and a board-certified sports medicine rehabilitation specialist.
Fredericksburg is an independent city known for its historic heritage. In addition to its rich history, Fredericksburg offers an abundance of activities. In Fredericksburg or, close proximity, are the Rappahannock River, Blue Ridge Mountains, multiple craft breweries, wineries and distilleries, and Washington, DC is a short drive away. Fredericksburg also has award-winning schools and is home to the University of Mary Washington. For baseball fans, the Potomac Nationals just announced intent to build a stadium in Fredericksburg and make the move to this beautiful city.
