Cornell University Veterinary Specialists (CUVS) in Stamford, CT, is seeking a credentialed technician with CCRP or CCRA certification (or desire to work towards their certification) to work with our board-certified sports medicine and rehabilitation (SMR) specialist. Currently, there are only about 50 canine SMR specialists in the United States, so this is a unique opportunity to provide care at the highest level.

The Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Service at CUVS works collaboratively with other services within CUVS, as well as accepting referrals from other specialty and general practices. Each rehabilitation patient receives an individualized treatment plan which may include: post-surgical assessment, neurologic assessment, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, massage, thermotherapy, cryotherapy (Game Ready), neurofunctional acupuncture, weight control and programs for core strengthening and stability. Modalities include: underwater treadmill, cold laser, electrical stimulation (NMES, E-STIM), orthosis (braces) management, prosthesis management and regenerative medicine (stem cells and PRP).
