Veterinary rehabilitation facility in Dallas, TX is seeking a CCRP/ CCRT/ CCRVN veterinary technician or physical therapist for a Veterinary Rehabilitation Therapist position.

HEAL Veterinary Hospital and Pet Rehabilitation is looking for a qualified, energetic, passionate veterinary rehabilitation therapist (RVT or PT) to add to our team. HEAL offers rehabilitation care to canine and feline patients through referral and client- directed avenues. Our doctors are certified in both veterinary medical acupuncture and canine rehabilitation, with continued education in advanced pain management strategies, regenerative medicine, geriatric medicine, and fear-free techniques. HEAL offers diagnostic and treatment assistance for aging and mobility- challenged patients. We utilize cutting edge therapeutics, referrals, and integrative medical treatments such as nutritional guidance, whole food supplementation, nutraceuticals, acupuncture, and rehabilitative therapies.

Our rehab department houses an underwater treadmill, Fit Paws physio equipment (peanuts, discs, wobble boards, wobble discs, Caveletti poles), a ramp and stair unit, a Fit Fur Life professional land treadmill with incline and decline capabilities, a Class IIIb LASER, and an Intellect Vet therapeutic ultrasound/ e-stim unit.

4 to 5-day workweek with competitive salary and benefits offered for qualified individuals

A qualified individual would have superior communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: participation in all initial rehabilitation consultations and re-evaluations, development of in-house and home rehabilitation plans, implementation and direction of all rehab therapies, documentation of all rehabilitation treatments and plans, client education and veterinary community education and out-reach.

Preference will be given to individuals currently certified in Canine Rehabilitation and those with prior work experience in this area. We will accept applications from registered technicians or physical therapists who have immediate plans to complete certification in Canine Rehabilitation.
