Paw Rehab is currently seeking a full-time CCRA/CCRP to join our small, passionate team in Los Angeles, CA.

Ideal candidate’s qualifications should include: at least two years veterinary experience including patient care, client communication and technical skills, venipuncture, urinary bladder expression, urinary catheter placement, cystocentesis, intramuscular and subcutaneous injection administration, wound care, filling prescriptions, client education, word processing, digital records/practice software,.

CCRA/CCRP certification or training/coursework in canine rehabilitation therapy and/or experience in rehabilitation therapy is preferred but we are willing to train qualified candidates with a strong interest in rehabilitation therapy.

We seek to hire individuals that are team players, are dedicated, reliable, able to give exceptional patient care, enjoy client interaction and have excellent communication skills.

About the position: The CCRA/CCRP will work under the supervision of our DVM to support the veterinarian and independently facilitate patient rehab sessions — which include therapeutic exercises, underwater treadmill/land treadmill therapy, massage/soft tissue work, cold laser, client education, assist in taking and recording digital notes during rehab sessions and consultations/rechecks, veterinary nursing care or other duties as required and to perform complete digital medical record keeping and documentation as needed. You’ll have an established schedule (Monday through Friday, either 8-5 or 9-6) with some flexibility according to daily clinic needs.

We work with many debilitated patients of all sizes so the position requires physical strength and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
